Mrs. Shannon Nanney - Senior Kindergarten

"Finally, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things." - Philippians 4:8

A lifelong Memphian, Shannon Nanney attended The University of Memphis where she earned a B. S. in Education. Prior to becoming a part of the faculty at Christ Methodist Day School in 2007, Shannon taught kindergarten in a Memphis area public optional school.

She attends Bellevue Baptist Church, is married to David and has one son, Christopher, who graduated from CMDS in 2011 and now attends MUS.  When not teaching, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, going to Christopher's sporting events, playing tennis, and volunteering for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
