Mrs. Shelley Bolton - Art Teacher

Shelley Bolton came to Christ Methodist Day School eager to expose students to the joy of creating. Born and raised in Laurel, Mississippi, she earned her bachelor of art degree from the University of Mississippi. Before becoming the art instructor at Christ Methodist Day School, she was a partner in a small business, a faux finisher, a commissioned artist, and an instructor in the Continuing Education department for the University of Memphis.
Shelley and her husband, Chris, have three children, all of whom have attended Christ Methodist Day School. The Boltons are members of Independent Presbyterian Church, where Shelley has been a small group Bible Study leader. She loves her family, two dogs, and the gift of laughter.
