Mrs. Rebecca Gieselmann - School Counselor
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send and who will go for me?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me.” - Isaiah 6:8
Memphis has always been home for Rebecca Gieselmann, who graduated magna cum laude from Crichton College with a bachelor of science in psychology. She earned her masters in school counseling from the U of M, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Before joining the Christ Methodist faculty in 2007, she worked as an executive counselor for Second Chance, led fourteen-week prevention groups in Shelby County Schools for the Memphis Alcohol and Drug Council, and was an assistant youth director at Grace Evangelical Church.
Rebecca and her husband, Kent, have three children. Vance and Crews are both students here at CMDS. Baby sister Machin attends the PDO program. The couple’s niece, Courtney, a junior at White Station High School, also lives with them. Rebecca’s favorite pastimes are running, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
