Grades 3-6 will be studying the orchestra for the next 4 weeks. This unit will cover the families of instruments with examples of orchestral works, and videos of orchestra performances.  We will continue to work on songs for chapel as well as rehearse for Day School Sunday.

Grades 1-2 will continue playing Orff instruments as well as Boom Whackers and rhythm instruments to enhance our study of rhythms and melody.

Day School Sunday will be held February 5th, 8:30 church service, in the Sanctuary.  Each year the children in SrK-6th are asked to take part in this service, which honors our school and the students.  The children will be singing, and some will be speaking to the congregation.  We hope you and your family will make every effort to attend this special time with our school family.
