Mrs. Linda May - Second Grade

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31

Even though Linda May grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, she has lived in Memphis for many years.  With a degree in elementary education from Auburn University, Linda has made several contributions to the Memphis community.  She is a member of Second Presbyterian Church, a former board member of the Junior League of Memphis and Les Passees, and has been nominated for one of Who's Who Among Teachers.

Linda has made a career of teaching by educating students in Atlanta, Nashville, and the Memphis City School System.  She joined the team at Christ Methodist Day School in 1998 and has taught second, third, and fifth grade Language Arts.  She remains current with the education world by attending seminars and taking graduate courses.

When not teaching, Linda spends time with her three grown sons and three granddaughters who are the joys of her life.  She also enjoys, reading, and going to the beach.
