Mrs. Lynne Anderson - Junior Kindergarten

For twenty-two years Lynne Rowan Anderson has taught our "little ones" at Christ Methodist Day School. She was born in Memphis and left only to attend the University of Mississippi where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. She is a member of Christ United Methodist Church and has two daughters who are graduates of CMDS. Mrs. Anderson is a dedicated teacher who attends various workshops and seminars on current educational practices.

She has been married to her husband, Tuns, for thirty years. When not at school she enjoys walking, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Monthly Highlights
Spring has popped into our rooms in many creative ways. Our letter U emphasis will be things we see Up in the sky such as birds, kites and butterflies, or things Underground such as worms, roots and rabbits. During V week our young scientists will experiment by erupting volcanoes. We are also excited about our pretend Vet/Pet center in our Discovery Room. A couple of activities to look forward to during W week will be watermelon math, weather words and celebrating Wacky Wednesday! Jr. K will celebrate the completion of the alphabet with a yard sale in the courtyard. The end of the year is a busy time as we prepare to host Open House, Grandparent's Day, Field Day and our grand finale, theJr. K sharing program!
