Winter is quickly approaching.  This is usually a time of year that we don't like to get outside and exercise.  There are many activities you can do inside to keep the blood flowing.  Take the steps, jump rope, do an exercise video, or exercise with the WII.  Although it may be cold, it is good for us to get bundled up and get outside for fresh air.  Breathing in cold air is good for the lungs.

We will be starting basketball skills throughout the winter months.  Things you can go at home are dribble with both hands,  work on ball handling skills that we will learn in PE and get out and shoot..

HEALTHY TIP:

Sports drinks are only useful is consumed before and after a sport event.  Drinking sports drinks during the activity offer no benefit.  The best thing is WATER.

Wash your hands regularly.  Cold season is here and we don't want to pass on our germs.
