Mrs. Ginger Chamberlain - First Grade

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar
on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and
not be faint."- Isaiah 40:31

Ginger has been a part of our CMDS family for twelve years teaching both preschool and first grade.   Prior to joining CMDS, she taught in Memphis City Schools and St. Benedict Catholic School.   Ginger graduated from the University of Memphis earning a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and early childhood development.  She has also been trained in the Slingerland Reading Program. Ginger is a member of Who's Who Among America's Teachers, Delta Kappa Gamma International Society for Teachers, a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and is a  sustaining member of the LeBonheur Club of Memphis.

She is married to Phil Chamberlain.  They have three grown children, Michael, Kristin and Kara. Her daughters are both graduates of CMDS.  She enjoys playing tennis,walking with her dogs, Emma and Bo, traveling to Australia to visit family and friends, and weekends at Pickwick with her family.
