

Mrs. Alison Hinson - Director of Admissions

Alison first joined the CMDS staff in 2002, as a first grade teacher and, in 2005, began her current position as Director of Admissions. Born and raised in Memphis, she is a graduate of Christ Methodist Day School and White Station High School. Alison earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University in 2007, and has since completed some of her post-graduate work at Christian Brothers University. A member of the Memphis Maroon Club (MSU alumni group), Alison has served as the chapter's secretary and been the recipient of their Distinguished Young Alumnus award.
Alison is active in the LeBonheur Club and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, sewing, working in her yard, and spending time with friends and family. Alison and her husband, Gary, recently celebrated the birth of their first child, Elizabeth.
