Mrs. Abercrombie - Early Childhood Curriculum Coordinator

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." - Romans 12:12
Alissa Abercrombie is a lifelong Memphian who graduated from Ridgeway High School. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee.  Alissa taught at the U of M Campus School for three years before joining the CMDS faculty in 2008. “I had heard wonderful things about Christ Methodist,” she said, “and I wanted to teach at a school that gave teachers freedom to design curriculum and to teach in different ways.”
Alissa is an active member of Hope Presbyterian Church and, besides spending time with her husband Scott, son Jack, and daughter Julianne, her favorite pastimes are reading, exercising, and watching Tennessee Football.
