Policies
Hours and Days of Operation
PDO is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
PDO is CLOSED on Tuesdays. We offer Early Bird drop off (8:30 a.m.) or Late Bird pick up (3:00 p.m.) at an additional cost. A child may attend PDO a maximum of 12 hours per week on no more than two days per week.
PDO is closed on major holidays: Spring Break, Good Friday, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving. We are also closed for two weeks between sessions. Any other holidays or weather-related closings may occur in accordance with Christ Methodist Day School closings. Advance notice will be given.
Ages
PDO serves children ages 3 months up to 3 years.
Fees
Registration Fee: A non-refundable fee of $40 for 1 child, $80 for 2 children, or $95 for 3 or more children, is due when you register for the School Year or Summer sessions. If space is not available this fee will be charged to be placed on our Waiting List.
Monthly tuition is charged according to the number of days PDO is open each month. Tuition is due in the office on the 1st of EACH month. Each month a fee sheet is provided with the upcoming tuition charges as well and may be found on our Parent Page.
If your child does miss a regularly scheduled day during the School Year session, we offer three make-up days free of charge. To make up a day, you must call the office to check availability. There will be NO Make-Up days available for the Summer session.
A late payment fee of $15.00 will be imposed if a payment for a given month is not received by the 5th of that month and additional charges will be billed 5 days thereafter.
All checks should be made out to CMDS-PDO.
Activities
Children are exposed to curriculum which includes music, books, letters, numbers, shapes, colors, a Bible verse, and arts and crafts activity each day they attend. Children also play both in their classroom as well as out doors when weather permits or in our indoor play room.
