The
purpose of Christ Methodist Parents Day Out is to meet the needs of
parents by offering quality child care in a Christian environment
in which children can benefit from a group experience.

As a ministry of Christ United Methodist Church, our trained staff is committed
to serving parents and their children by providing:
Experiences
for the young child to develop mentally, physically, spiritually,
emotionally and socially with children of like age
A stimulating planned program that offers each child a fun learning experience
A positive opportunity for the child to have contact with another significant
adult outside the home.
Openings And Closings
Parent's Day Out will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
There are two sessions: Session I: June, July, August; Session II: September
through May. The regular hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We have an early
bird 8:30am dropoff and a late pick up that goes until 3pm. Parents Day Out
will be closed on Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Spring Break (TBA),
July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas
Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Any other holidays or closing due to
inclement weather will be dictated by Christ Methodist Day School.
Fees
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $35.00 per session per child.
Daily rates are: $18.00 for 1 child, 5 1/2 hours each day, $34.00 for 2 children,
$51.00 for 3 children, $10.00 for 1/2-day session (session II only). 1/2 day
is for dayschool children only. If you choose to do earlybird or late pick
up it is an additional $4.00 each.
Daily Activities
All children are served a snack and have rest time. The program includes free
play with toys, books, puzzles, blocks and other developmental activities.
Children 18 months and older experience daily storytime, music and exercise.
The children are provided well equipped indoor and outdoor facilities.
Supplies
Parents provide lunch including a drink, disposable diapers, a change of clothes
for babies through 3 years of age and a nap blanket.
Sickness
A child may not attend Parents Day Out if the child has experienced any of
the following symptoms in the past 24 hours: vomiting, diarrhea, fever, sore
throat, severe cough, ear ache or rash.

Parents are welcome to visit Christ Methodist Parent's Day Out. It is a joy
