Tantas clases de idiomas hay, seguramente, en el mundo
Y ninguno de ellos carece de significado."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY William, Mrs. Wilford's 4th Grade
SATURDAY Olivia, Mrs. Cameron's 4th Grade
SUPER CITIZENS are PERSEVERING. Persevering Super Citizens do not give up.
SCA Elections will be held today. Speeches will be at 1:30 on the 9th with the election to follow.
SCA members need to meet in the Sanctuary next Wednesday at 7:40 AM to practice for chapel.
This week is our celebration of world languages. We have a secret agent out there waiting for you to tell them the greeting for the day. Today it is GUTEN TAG, which is German for hello. The first student to greet the secret agent by saying GUTEN TAG will win a special prize!
For the week of May 5-9, we will be accepting donations to celebrate the great work done by St. Jude to help sick children. We are honoring our own sixth grader, Sean Maxwell, who is just finishing up his treatments this month after three years. Please bring donations to Mrs. Oxner's desk or to the people collecting at car pool. On Friday, we will culminate with a t-shirt and jeans day and five extra minutes of extra recess!

CMDS Uniform Guidelines for 2007-2008
Transition Year (Note Clarifications)
- Required shirts for fieldtrips and Thursdays will be a crested red polo shirt from Parker uniforms. This may be long sleeved or short sleeved.
- We prefer that all shirts have a crest, but it will not be required until 2008-2009.
- All bottoms for 2007-2008 may be khaki, red, navy or CMDS plaid. Students may wear uniform clothes they wore for 2006-07 for this transition year.
- We recommend all purchases be in compliance with next year’s Uniform Policy.
- No dresses are allowed, only jumpers (red, navy, khaki, CMDS plaid).
- The CMDS School numbers for our vendors are:
Parker Uniforms web code- ME067074
Land’s End code- 9000-5425-5
- Shirts for 2007-08 may be red (from Parker), light blue, royal blue crest shirt (old), and white (including those with piping on the collar). All uniform shirts worn currently are allowed.
- Our new CMDS crest has been given to Land’s End and Parker Uniforms. The red shirt has to be purchased from Parker, but other crested items may be purchased from either store.
