Maxine Moore Music Academy

Originally created as a ministry of Christ United Methodist Church, Christ Methodist Day School is excited to now have the Maxine Moore Music Academy as an enrichment program. The Maxine Moore Music Academy was founded in May 2005 thanks to a generous donation made by Mr. Ray Moore in honor of his late wife, Maxine Moore. Our goal is to bring glory to God by providing excellent musical instruction that will enable our students to achieve their personal best in musical expression. All Music Academy instructors are dedicated Christian professionals with college degrees or Music Conservatory certificates in their respective fields. Private music lessons and our new praise band classes, ROCK 3:16, are open to the community.

*ROCK 3:16 is a band class whose primary genre is determined by the students' musical tastes. Students learn how to work and perform as a band, using pop, praise, and country music, as well as rock 'n roll standards.
