Giving and Getting Involved
CMDS is blessed to have many generous supporters, including parents, faculty and staff, alumni, parents of alumni and special friends, whose gifts and service are very important in the life of our school. Grandparents are very supportive financially and can often be seen volunteering on campus or during a field trip. The support from this collective group make CMDS a very special place.
Our Board of Directors, development office and a group of volunteers called the Spirit Fund Cabinet oversee our annual giving campaign, which we call the Spirit Fund . To contact our Development Office, please email Jeanie Gundlach at development@cmdsmemphis.org or call 901-202-6060. Credit Card gifts may be made on our secure website by clicking on Give Now.
Partner Programs enable our families and friends to support us financially as they go about their everyday lives, whether buying groceries, shopping at department stores or searching the internet. Please see our Partner Programs page to check out the businesses that will give Christ Methodist a donation each time you shop. These programs can offer substantial extra income for our school.
Memorial scholarship funds have been established over the years to honor the memory of several former students and special friends. These scholarship funds help to provide financial assistance to families who would not otherwise be able to afford a quality Christian education for their children.
The Sponsored Scholarship Reserve Fund was established for donors who wish to support a family by paying tuition for a student through 6th grade graduation. For more information about donating to a memorial fund or a Sponsored Scholarship Reserve Fund, please visit our Scholarship Funds page.
To learn about how you can get involved as a volunteer, please visit the Parents Association webpage. The Parents Association oversees fundraising and fellowship activities including the auction/gala, “Evening with the Masters”, an all about art event, Spirit clothing sales, Boosterthon Fun Run, the Chili Cook-off, grade level parent parties and more.
