Purpose
Christ Methodist Day Care offers parents peace of mind by providing a nurturing and educational Christian environment and the highest quality care possible for their children.

Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the center provides a qualified teaching staff, small classes, and low child/teacher ratios. We strive to meet the individual needs of each child, while encouraging physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Children born before June 1st are eligible for the school year beginning in August. We accept children from ages 2.5 months through two years old.

Daily Activities
Activities vary according to the needs and developmental stages of the children. Infants are on individual schedules with lots of one-on-one attention. Toddlers and Twos enjoy a planned curriculum that includes learning centers, thematic units, Bible, stories, music, art, cooking activities, language, math, science, circle time, outside play, rest time, etc. 

Snacks & Lunch
Parents of infants provide formula and baby food as required for their children. For older children, the Center provides morning and afternoon snacks with juice and milk at lunchtime. Children bring lunches from home. Microwaves are available for warming food.

Fees
A non-refundable application fee of $50 for the first child and $15 each for subsequent children is due when your application is submitted in order to secure a place on the waiting list. The Day Care has a monthly tuition fee based on the age of the child. The fee ranges from $725-$785 per month.

Openings & Closings
The Day Care is open all year, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the following exceptions: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th,2 Teacher In-Service Days (Aug.). Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, and three days for Christmas. Parents will be notified of any changes. Weather related closings occur only when streets are exceptionally hazardous and/or the church is without electricity.
