Two years ago Mrs. Weaver moved to Memphis and began substituting for the students at Christ Methodist Day School. She was born and raised in Ripley, Tennessee, and received her Bachelor of Science in Education from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mrs. Weaver has teaching experience with Lauderdale Middle School and instructing seventh grade reading with the Memphis Tutorial Association. She is also a member of the Somerville Garden and Arts club.

Mrs. Weaver has an eighteen-year-old daughter, Katie, and enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.
