"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if there be any virtue and if there be any praise-think on these things." -Philippians 4:8

Originally from Humboldt, Tennessee, Mrs. Jackson has made Memphis her home since 1980. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Lambuth College and her Master's Degree from the University of Scranton. Before coming to Christ Methodist Day School, Mrs. Jackson taught in the Memphis City Schools and for the Department of Defense in England and Germany. Christ Methodist Day School welcomed Mrs. Jackson thirty years ago. She has inspired third graders ever since.

Mrs. Jackson has been married for forty-two years to Paisley. The Jacksons have a daughter, Joy, who attended Christ Methodist Day School. Joy and her husband Dale had their first child and Zoe and Paisley's first grandchild last December 15. His name is Eli, and in the grandparents' opinion, he is adorable. Mrs. Jackson enjoys spending time in the garden and traveling. Mrs. Jackson cites her mother, Dorris Smith, and Abraham Lincoln as three of her inspirational heroes.
