Mrs. Lynne White “You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.” Psalm 119:114 Mrs. White was born in Nashville, Tennessee but raised in Chattanooga. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology at the University of Tennesse at Knoxville in 1976. At the University of Memphis Mrs. White has completed courses towards her Master of Engineering. She is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, and has received a Certificate of Appreciation from the National Safety Council for her contribution the their Defensive Driving Campaign. She also holds certificates from OSHA for Electrical Safety and Advanced Industrial Health. She has taught Vacation Bible School for Christ Methodist’s Street Ministries. Mrs. White has experience teaching when privately tutoring her son, James, while he underwent chemotherapy. Mrs. White has spent four years at Christ Methodist providing assistance to preschool teachers and students.Mrs. White and her husband, Bill, have two children, Eddie and James. Both of the boys are CMDS alumni. She enjoys reading, Suduku, and the outdoors. Mrs. White is also the proud owner of Shubunkin babies (pond goldfish). When asked whom she calls her heroes, Mrs. White cites James, her son who endured five years of chemotherapy and radiation for leukemia. She also expressed accolades to Carol Deaver and all of the CMDS teachers. |
