of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
" Mrs. Cathy Short was born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She lived in several different states with her Military husband before
settling in Memphis in 1992. Mrs. Short attended Oral Roberts
University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Arkansas
State University. She had eighteen years of teaching experience
before joining Christ Methodist Day School in 2000. Mrs. Short
was a classroom teacher for Pre School, Kindergarten, first, fifth,
sixth, and eight grades. She has taught Remedial Reading and
Math, Gifted and Talented, and Computer classes. Mrs.
Short taught in schools in Arkansas, Okalahoma, Illinois, Hawaii,
and Tennessee. In addition to being the Technology Integration Specialist at CMDS, she also is the Co-Chair of the SACS committee and the Director of Adventurous Learning Summer Camps. She is also the Webmaster for AOK. Mrs. Short was widowed fourteen years ago and is the mother of a seventeen-year-old son. She also calls her six -year old Boston Terrier, Shelby, a member of the family. Scrap-booking and other crafts are among some of Mrs. Short's many hobbies. She is an active member of Cornerstone Church. |
