Miss Jenny Morris “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you. For I am the Lord, your God.” Isaiah 43:1-3 Miss Morris is relatively new to Memphis having just moved here from England where for the past 2 1/2 years, she has been a missionary with Young Life International. Miss Morris was born in Chattanooga,Tennessee and graduated from The University of North Carolina with a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science. Miss Morris enjoys the distinctions of being twice named Varsity Letter winner and scholarship athlete in rowing at The University of North Carolina, earning the Varsity Women’s Rowing team co-MVP award, her senior year at college. She enjoys a good challenge and last summer completed the 3 Peaks Challenge. This challenge requires one to climb the three highest mountains in the UK within 24 hours. Miss Morris has substituted in the Polk County, NC School System, assisted first grade at Presbyterian Day School in Memphis, and guided teams with rafting, rock climbing, and backpacking in Colorado. While not teaching, Miss Morris can be found running, rafting, baking, traveling, or spending time with her friends. |
