Mrs. Leslie Morgan "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God." Philippians 4:6 For the past eighteen years Mrs. Leslie Morgan has taught first grade at Christ Methodist Day School. She was raised in Memphis and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is trained in the Slingerland Method. Prior to teaching school Mrs. Morgan worked as an Area Director at Vanderbilt University and for Time Magazine in New York City. She has the distinction of being named Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2006, 2005, 2004, and 2003. In February 2003 Mrs. Morgan was Memphis Teacher of the Week and she has received the Martha Washington Medal for History in Education. Mrs. Morgan and her husband, Colby, have three children who are Christ Methodist Day School graduates. Her dog, Pokie, and her two cats consider themselves family members as well. Mrs. Morgan attends Second Presbyterian Church and loves to read. |
