Mrs. Linda May "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." -Isaiah 40:31 Even though Mrs. May grew up in Atlanta, Georgia she has lived in Memphis for the past forty years. With a degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University Linda has made several contributions to the Memphis Community. She is a member of Second Presbyterian Church, a former Board member of the Junior League of Memphis and Les Passees, and has been nominated for one of Who's Who Among Teachers. Mrs. May has made a career of teaching by educating students in Atlanta, Nashville, and with the Memphis City School System. She joined the team at Christ Methodist Day School nine years ago and taught fifth grade Language Arts before taking a third grade position. Mrs. May remains current with the education world by attending seminars and taking graduate courses. While not teaching Mrs. May spends time with her three grown sons who are the joys of her life. She also enjoys her Siamese cat, Precious, snorkeling, tennis, reading, and going to the beach. |
