Mrs. Alison Hinson "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." -Proverbs 3:5-6 For most of Mrs. Hinson's life she has lived in Memphis. She attended Christ Methodist Day School and later White Station High. Mrs. Hinson earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University and began teaching shortly after. Mrs. Hinson has the distinction of being active in the Memphis Maroon Club, received the Distinguished Young Alumnus Award, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Memphis Maroon Club. In 2002 she joined the staff at CMDS as a first grade teacher and held that position for three years. In 2005 Mrs. Hinson began her current position as the Director of Admissions. Mrs. Hinson has been married to her husband, Gary, for the past two years. They are active members of Hope Presbyterian Church and enjoy playing with their two miniature dachshunds, Mae and Molly. She also enjoys spending time reading, working on her home, and yard projects |
