Mrs. Margaret Hickey "To everything there is a reason and a time to every purpose
under heaven." Since 1979 Mrs. Margaret Hickey has been a part of the staff at Christ Methodist Day School. She was born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and moved to Memphis twenty-seven years ago. Mrs. Hickey attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. She also has earned her Masters Degree in Reading from the University of Memphis. Mrs. Hickey has taught several different grades including sixth, kindergarten, and Connections. She has the distinction of heading up CMDS's Connections Program and has served on the SACS Leadership team for the past ten years. Mrs. Hickey and her husband, Tom, have been married for thirty-two years and they have two sons, Thomas and Tim. While not spending time teaching and enjoying her family Mrs. Hickey takes pleasure in walking, gardening, and reading by the pool. |
