"A cheerful heart is good medicine." -Proverbs 17:22 Mrs. Carol Deaver has been a part of our Christ Methodist Day School family for thirty-one years. She is a native Memphian who earned a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education from the University of Memphis. Mrs. Deaver is a Deacon at Lindenwood Christian Church as well as a member of the Drama Team. She is also a Spokesperson for the American Cancer Society and organizes the Christ Methodist Day School team each fall for the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walks. Many do not know that Mrs. Deaver is a children's book author. She has written and published four Christian children's books. They are titled Be Like the Animals, All Things Good, God Loves Us All, and God Wrapped His Christmas Present, Too. Mrs. Deaver has one son, Bryant. When not teaching and spending time with her family, she enjoys reading, walking, and working in her yard.
