This is Mrs. Abercrombie's third year at CMDS and her first year teaching Junior Kindergarten. She is a lifetime Memphian who earned both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Before joining the family at Christ Methodist, Alissa taught 1st and 2nd grade at the University of Memphis Campus School. She is a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, Scott, have a young son named Jack.

Mrs. Abercrombie enjoys UT Football, exercising, reading, and spending time with her husband, son, and 2 Labradors.
