Before & After School Care

Our vision for Alpha and Omega Kids is to step outside the boundaries of a traditional after-school program and reach out to all students on the Christ Methodist Day School campus. We offer a wide variety of enrichment classes designed to engage your child creatively, academically, socially and physically. Whether you’ve been a part of the CMDS community for many years, or are just beginning your journey, you will find that the AOK program is intended to be an enjoyable and constructive use of your child's time, while providing you a safe and convenient option for childcare.
To participate in our Alpha and Omega Kids Program, you must complete the AOK registration form, and submit a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $25 per child. This will ensure your registration form is on file and active throughout the 2011-2012 school year. Please take the time to read our AOK Policies and Procedures for more information.
Basic AOK Program Description:
Before-school care is available each morning that school is in session, from 7:00-8:10am. At 8:10am, your child will be walked to his/her classroom.
After-school care is available each afternoon that school is in session, from school dismissal until 6:00pm.
We staff a highly qualified group of young adults who serve as counselors. They are dedicated to helping your child enjoy their time with us. Counselors are assigned to specific age groups and all groups enjoy snacks, free time, and planned activities adapted to their grade level. Activities include arts and crafts, cooking, board games, outside/gymnasium play, movies, and organized large-group games. Homework time is provided in a quiet, supervised environment. A Christ Methodist teacher is available each Monday through Thursday for homework support. Children can choose to do other activities when they finish their homework.
