Application Process for the 2012-2013 School Year

Application Materials
To begin your child's admissions file at Christ Methodist Day School, please submit the following items to:

All information must be complete, and the application must be signed.  You may also apply online if you wish.

  • Application Fee

$75 nonrefundable application fee per student (checks payable to CMDS)

Submit this form if your child is currently enrolled in a Day Care, PDO, or other school.

  • Birth Certificate

Please include a copy of your child's certified birth certificate, either the short or long form.

As a ministry of Christ United Methodist Church, Christ Methodist Day School offers priority classification to:
1. Siblings of students currently enrolled at Christ Methodist Day School (First to CUMC member siblings, then all others)
2. Children of Christ United Methodist Church members
3. Children currently enrolled in Christ Methodist Day Care and PDO
4. All others by application date

Applications must be on file on or before January 1, 2012, to receive priority for the 2012-2013 school year.  Please note that priority classification can be helpful, but is not necessary for admission.

Admissions Committee Meetings
The Admissions Committee will meet and review:
-Application Materials
-Teacher Recommendations
-Report Cards
-Admissions Testing
-Outside Evaluations (if applicable)

Admissions Decisions
The Admissions Notification date is Wednesday, February 15, 2012, and contracts are due to the Day School Office by Thursday, March 1, 2012.

Applications received after January will be processed individually and may not follow the above decision dates.
