Part-Time Positions Available for Summer 2018
Summer@CMDS is looking for qualified individuals who are interested in a part-time position working with children ages 3-12.
Qualified individuals must be 18 or older; must be able to perform physical activity; and must ensure the safety and well being of children by providing close supervision of all activities. We are looking for energetic, outgoing and positive young adults who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. They must be able to lead children in a group setting, follow schedules and be flexible. Most importantly, qualified individuals must be able to serve as a Christian role model and possess an overall love of children.

Early Childhood Instructional Assistant
Full- and Part-Time Positions Available for 2018-19 School Year
Early Childhood Instructional Assistants partner with Lead Teachers to provide students with multiple learning experiences in academics, emotional development, physical growth and spiritual guidance. Working with the Lead Teacher, Instructional Assistants are responsible for assisting in all programming and class activities as well as caring for our students’ physical and emotional needs. Assistants are also called upon to build strong relationships and maintain frequent communication with CMDS families.
Instructional Assistants must be able to help students with their daily development needs. They must know first aid and be able to administer it. They also must attend staff meetings and in-service trainings throughout the year.
Our Instructional Assistants represent Christ Methodist Day School both on campus and in the community, so a commitment to professionalism is essential. Most importantly, our Assistants must possess a gentle demeanor, be observant of students’ needs and have an overall love of children.
